You Are Certification??

I came across this picture on a website, and I also noticed somebody had it as their signature in this forum:

It looks to me like a double platinum "you are" certification, but "You Are" didn't do very well in the charts, so I wonder what it is! Does anybody have any ideas, and what country is may be from?

Hmmm, I don't know, they look like they're wearing similar clothes to "It's Ok!" but, the cd cover inside the case definitly looks like "You Are" to me, and besides, I don't think "It's Ok!" got certified anywhere except the UK, where it achieved silver status. Thanks anyway though!!

It wasn't Australia, as the song never charted there, haha!

I think the best bet is to say it was an Asian country, as all of their chart data and certifications are IMPOSSIBLE to find...

Although, on wiki, it states the song was only released in Europe and Oceania hahaha

I don't think it's from the second album. It's definitely from the first album "Right now". Probably the girls can tell us that here on the board. I thought it was double platinum for the album "Right now.

The picture is from Cape Town in South Africa and it was taken in March 2002.
Here is a better (bigger) version of the picture:

On this pic you can clearly see the South African flag in the lover left hand corner of the frames.

If was at around the time when they were in South Africa to record the video for "It's OK!".
They also performed at some venue in Cape Town on March. 24, 2002

On the link you sent, it says that the "Right Now" album went Gold in SA. I'm pleasently shocked that the kittens were big in South Africa. It's amazing though, they really did have international success! Asia, Europe, South Africa and Oceania...to bad about the US though!

In addition, I'm shocked that the original title for "It's Ok!" was "You're not here (But it's ok)" haha

haha wel the It's Ok name could also be wrong from the one who wrote it you never know can remember reading somewhere about The Last Goodbye and it was write like tihs (The Last) Goodbye so and so i know about more singel wright woring so haha

It isn't more that a couple of weeks ago that I saw "It's OK!" being named as: "You're not here (But it's OK)". This wasn't just on some random webpage though.

I saw it while listening to DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast). There is a display on my radio that tells me what is playing (and other info) which is send out by the radio station... and the radio station was one of our "official" radio stations (Like BBC in the UK), so they got it named like this in their huuuuge archive. So maybe it really was intended to be named: "You're not here (But it's OK)".
